This spacious, newly remodeled, well-appointed home was the perfect setting for our family gathering. The large dining area off the open kitchen and two living rooms provided the ideal setting for fun times together. Three incredibly comfortable bedrooms upstairs and downstairs allowed everyone to spread out for a good night’s sleep. Whether you enjoy quiet walks in the peaceful Nebraska countryside, hiking in forested state parks, visiting the SAC museum, or going to restaurants, there’s something for everyone in the area. But really you don’t have to go anywhere - if you prefer to just hang out, there’s so much to do right in this home, whether playing indoor or outdoor games, hanging around the firepit, watching anything on a wide selection of streaming services on smart TVs, or enjoying outdoor time on the deck and patio. I have to say, what impressed me most about this place was the incredible host. Ryan was consistently SUPER quick to respond and always so friendly and accommodating. From answering all my questions before the stay, to providing useful information at just the right time, to checking in with us to make sure our stay was going well, all communications were a delight. I can’t recommend the experience of staying at Ryan and Lacey’s Mahoney Ridge home enough! We’d definitely stay here again!

The Mahoney Ridge Hideaway was wonderful! We needed a large property for a family get together of 14, and we had plenty of room to spare here! This is a recently remodeled large home with a spacious basement and plenty of space for everyone. Ryan, the owner, lives close by and was SUPER responsive with issues or questions we had, I can't imagine a better Airbnb host. Great firepit with chairs, free wifi, Disney+, and Netflix. We had a great time and highly recommend this property.

Amazing location, and house that has everything for a big group to stay and relax together and not feel crowded! The best AirBNB house I have ever stayed at that had 5 Star hotel beds, bedding and towels!!!! We will book again for Husker football game weekends given the short drive to Lincoln! Ryan is a Super Host by phone and text before and during the stay.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It was very clean and has great decor and furnishings. There are a lot of extras to entertain kids with, which was awesome since it was too cold for them to play outside. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the location, it was very peaceful and private. It’s a large property with beautiful land. We saw deer every morning in the backyard. Downtown Ashland is an amazing little town with adorable shops. We will definitely be returning here again.

Great layout and location for our 3-generation family get together. Ryan and Lacey were responsive and had great attention to details. This house had multiple separated areas/spaces where kids (young and old) could play, game, watch separate movies, and hang out while the adults visited. Hosting and cooking were a breeze with all the available brand new kitchen ware. Entertaining the younger ones was easy with all the house games and yard games provided with the house. We really enjoyed the wide-open spaces and watching the kids running around playing kickball, wiffle ball, football, and end it all with s’mores at the fire pit. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a great place to get together.

What a beautiful property, both inside and out! We gathered here for an 80th Birthday celebration/Family Reunion and all had a wonderful time. Very spacious and comfortable furnishings indoors. Plenty of areas to break off into small groups and play games provided or sit around dining room table playing cards and visiting. Our stay was in the winter, and we would love to come back during summer months to enjoy the outdoor amenities on the property as well as the outdoor activities available in the surrounding area. The stay at was better than we could have ever imagined. There was plenty of space and SO many activities we could enjoy in the house. Outside of the property was room for the kids to play in the grass and a fire pit to make campfires, which we did. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and I personally fought the urge to go to bed early to lay in Heaven instead of hanging out with the family.  The place has almost everything you’d need to make food there, and there’s a grocery store less than 10 minutes away.

We enjoyed our days there especially seeing the deer eat fallen fruit from the pear tree. The beds and pillow were great. We enjoyed the games indoor and out. The kitchen worked out perfect. We couldn't use the fire pit as it was too windy. Might want to stay again?!

This is an amazing place! My whole family, all 16 of us, had a wonderful 3 days here. Plenty of room for us to sleep and play. We had all ages, 74 yr old aunt to my 10yr old son. From horseshoes to darts, smores and family dinner, it was a great time. There was plenty of room for spending time together, and space to spread out. We all are looking forward to staying again! It was a great added bonus to be close to the SAC, Mahoney, Platte River, and Linoma.

This rental was so clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our group of 5 families: 10 adults and 5 kids. The host communicated very well. We had a small issue the first day with the coffee pot, and the host had a new one sent that arrived the very next day. This rental really was more than we could have asked for with lots a small touches that made it feel like home. The central location was perfect for us as we had things to do in both Omaha and Lincoln. We would definitely recommend.
